The cabins

We can accommodate individuals and large groups with multiple unit reservations.  All accommodations offer heat, air conditioning, and laundry.  Modern kitchens with granite countertops, as well as full appliances including dishwashers.  Additionally, each unit is furnished with tv, dvd player, and linens.

Use of these items included with each unit:

aluminum canoe

kayaks

community fire pit and firewood (available for purchase)

charcoal grill and picnic tables

what to bring

We will provide bed linens and kitchen towels (paper and cloth)

We have brew and Keurig coffee machines, just bring your coffee!

We have most of the basic kitchen utensils and small appliances

You will need to bring beach towels

Suggested items to bring:

Aluminum foil, plastic wrap, parchment paper

Ziplock bags, single use baking pans, spices

The Property

Nestled in some of the most beautiful country in Wisconsin, Horsehead lake is a glacial formed spring fed lake.  Watters Edge Retreat sits on over 30 acres and almost 700 ft of lake frontage.  Horsehead lake yields many species of fish like bass, northern pike, crappie, blue gills, and perch. This will provide many hours of fun for everyone!

From sun up through sun down the lakeland area is breathtaking beyond imagination.  Enjoy the many amenities of the local communities of Lake Tomahawk, Minocqua, Woodruff, Arbor Vitae, Eagle River, and Rhinelander, all of which are surrounded by the enchanting beauty of the American Legion's Northern Highlands state forest and the Chequamegon national forest.
